Value of Multi-slice Spiral CT Urography for Urinary System Congenital Abnormalities

Objective To investigate value of multi-slice spiral CT urography in the clinical application of urinary system congenital abnormalities.Methods In 27 cases with urinary congenital abnormalities underwent CT plain scanning,kidney cortical phase,parenchymal phase and delayed phase contrast-enhanced CT scanning.The original datas were deal with workstation,the whole urologic reconstrueted images were obtained.Results Among 27 patients,there were 8 cases of pyeloureteral duplication deformity,5 cases of ectopic kidney,3 cases of horseshoe kidney,and unilateral renal hypoplasia,ureter behind vena cava,bladder diverticulum in 2 cases respectively,the other five kinds of congenital abnormalities in 1 case.All cases were confirmed by clinical findings.Conclusion CT urography has important clinical value in the diagnosis of urinary system diseases,particularly congenital abnormalities,which can clearly display the anatomical structure,the relation with the surrounding tissue and other lesions.
