Abstract
Butanone glycol ketal was prepared from butanone and ethylene glycol using ammonium ferric sulfate as catalyst. The optimal reaction conditions were screened by orthogonal test method. The yield of butanone glycol ketal can reach 68.1% under the optimum reaction conditions that butanone is 0.2mol,molar ratio of butanone to glycol is1.0∶ 1.6,the quantity of catalyst is equal to 4.3% of the feed stocks, the carrying-water agent is 20mL,and the reaction time is2.5h.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
