Abstract

Following the offshore engineering's developpement,the semi-submersible offshore work vessel,that has the functions of dismantling offshore platforms and structures transport,pipe-laying,support and maintenance,is now drawing wide attention.This paper briefly presents the basic design and the overall performance of a semi-submersible multi-purpose vessel with 2×2000t lifting capacity.
