Abstract
In the denitrifying phosphorus removal process, simultaneous removal of nitrogen and phosphorus can be achieved by using the same substrate. In recent years, it has become a hot issue in study of biological wastewater treatment. Therefore discussion was made on the process modeling and key factors affecting denitrifying phosphorus removal such as nitrate load to anoxic reactors, dissolved oxygen, volumetric ratio of aerobic and anoxic reactors, pH value, coexistence of nitrate with substrate, and nitrite, etc., and thus providing basis for modeling, experimental study, and practical application of the denitrifying phosphorus removal process.
