Therapeutic Observation of Method of Acupuncture and Massage to Treat Tehsion-type Hendache

Objective:To investigate the treatment efficacy on the patients suffering from the tension-type headache with the method of acupuncture and massage compared with the compound Yanggakdo capsule.Methods:96 cases of patients with the tension-type headache were randomly divided into two groups in the attendance order.The 49 cases of patients of the treatment group were treated with acupuncture and massage and 47 cases of the control group took orally 5 capsules of the compound Yanggakdo Capsule three times daily for 28 days.The therapeutic efficacy was observed according to the headache index of before and after treatment.Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group is 95.9%,and the control group is 72.3%.Conclusion:Acupuncture and Massage therapy is effective for the patients with the tension-type headache and has no side effects.
