Search for the Firm in the "Real World

In the framework of the mainstream firm theory, there is only a combination of the firm's functions, but not an entity of the firm. Different from this thought, strategic management theory realizes the firm on the point of the allocation of resources and the development of abilities.At the same time, evolutionary economics gives out a paradigm that regards the firm as an entity.So, this paper points out that the firm theory in the future must be a new integration, which absorbs the reasonable factors of the existing firm theory and also puts the latest achievements of strategic management theory, organizational behavior theory and evolutionary economics into the formal analytical framework.
