Abstract

Research was conducted both on Chlorella Sp. and Isochrysis galbana Parke in search of both the results of condensation by alumstone and limewash and the results of conservation under three thermal conditions :20?℃,0~4℃,and-30?℃.The test reveals. (1)80?ppm alumstone or 4% limewash is optimum to condensate Chlorella spp. (2)100?0 ppm alumstone or 6% limestone is optimum to condensate Isochrysis galbana. (3) To conserve microalgae ,it is optimum to place them in an ice-box under -30℃ with conservative glycerine and the survival rates of both kinds of algae are 95% and 93% respectively. (4) The amount of the fatty acids in algae varies rarely after conservation. (5)There is no remarkable difference between the two growth results of Chinese penaeid shrimp and wheel animalcule feeded by condensed and conserved algae and common algae .
