On the position and role of the literary criticism from perspective of the modern culture

The present literary criticism has the down-sliding tendency to be mediocre with poor taste and even nonstandard language. We expect that the literary criticism itself becomes scientific and normal. The paper probes into the noumenon of the literary criticism from the perspective of the modern culture, expounds the common cultural existence of criticism and exposes the main connotation relation of the criticism noumenon, which is helpful to probe into the humanistic significance of the literary criticism for the modern society, culture and citizens.
