The Technology Gap between Chinese Men's Basketball Team and the Strong Teams in the World

Abstract

In order to provide some advices for Chinese men's basketball,we analysed men's basketball game between china and oppoents in the 30th Olympic Games by mathematical statistics.Our study show that few shots is a major factor in the failure of chinese men's basketball team.It existed very significant disparity in many aspects such as score,shooting times,inside scoring and assists between china and oppoents.Chinese men's basketball team also have significant fewer three-point shots,fast-break points,second-chance points and rebounds compared with powerful teams in the world.
