On Present Condition and Gap of Chinese Men's Basketball Team on the basis of London Olympics Data Analysis

A study has been conducted on the failure of Chinese mens basketball team at the Olympic Games in London,by means of literature,mathematical statistics,contrast,video observation method and the London Olympics basketball tournament data analysis.Results show that the regional development of world basketball is not balanced.For instance,Europe,the United States,Oceania have seen the overall competitive level high,and the gap is narrowing,continuation of Europe and the United States contend with the situation,exchange and integration of the development of the internationalization of the athletes is the new feature of todays world basketball;Chinese mens basketball team scores a larger landslide,with the gap between the worlds top teams pulled gradually deviate from the World competitive Basketball Development main track;Chinese athletes showedyoung game with little experience,height and body single against the weak,low Quetelet index,physical characteristics;Chinese mens basketball score,lose points,shots,shooting,rebounding,assists,turnovers,steals indicators and teams exist significant differences(p0.05),blocked shots,fouls indicators stage opponents no significant difference(p 0.05);comprehensive analysis of the Chinese mens basketball team offensive and defensive situation, problems and with Europe and the United States team gaps and development proposals,reference to enhance the competitive level of the Chinese mens basketball reference.
