On the Summary Procedure of New Criminal Procedure Law

Criminal summary procedure plays an important role in saving judicial resources and improving litigation efficiency.Some relevant regulations of summary procedure have been improved in the new Criminal Procedural Law,which strongly pushes forward the construction of judicial legitimacy.But there are still some inadequacies.With the rise of criminal case incidence and the variety of criminal cases,it has already become a development trend to reform litigation procedure in making clear the defendants’ rights of procedure selection and building multivariate summary procedure in the requirements of litigation reform.
