Abstract
Due to long-term excessive mining confined water in the main suburb of Qiqihaer,which cause groundwater levels declining continually and coming to being the groundwater cone of depression.Based on exploitation quantity of groundwater and groundwater dynamic monitoring data for recent years,the article also analyzes the urban groundwater drawdown funnel formed in the dry period of 1988 is the area of 2.78 km2,with the exploitation of groundwater funnel area increasing and up to the area of 102.5 km2 in the year of 2000.With the implementation of the relevant measures,the funnel area gradually narrowing and tends to be stable.In the face of environment and geology problems caused by groundwater exploitation,it also puts forward the corresponding protection measures.
