Abstract

Objective To study the quality control of paranasal sinus MSCT examination. Methods Analysis the 83 cases CT images of paranasal sinus, which were selected randomly from 64-slice CT scanning with different reconstruction parameters and different window technologies, the images were divided into A,B,C,D four groups.Analysis the anatomy detail of the paranasal sinuses comparatively. Results The group D is the best of four group,It is well showed on paranasal sinus anatomy and adjacent structures with spiral volumetric scanning, thin bone window images,multi-dimensional images which based on coronal and axial. Conclusion It is well showed on paranasal sinus anatomy and adjacent structures with spiral volumetric scanning, thin bone window images,multi-dimensional images which based on coronal and axial. It is valuable for endoscopic sinus surgery, providing detail and accurate anatomical information, improving the success rate of surgery and preventing surgical complications.
