Abstract
In view of the fact that the diesel locomotive crew has no enthusiasm about fuel saving under the current system of shift by spells,the fuel consumption factor of diesel locomotive was analysed,and the design concept,operation performance and economic efficiency of fuel measurement system and fuel analysis and management system for diesel locomotive were described in detail.
