Abstract

Objective To investigate the inhibiting platelet activation effect of Naotaifang. Methods The rotating glass ball test to evaluate the platelet adhesion rate; The turbidimetry to evaluate The adenosine diphosphate( ADP),collagen( COL) and arachidonic acid( ACA) induced maximum platelet aggregation rate; The vitro- thrombus to evaluate the effect of Naotaifang to thrombosis. Results In the rotating glass ball test, platelet adhesion rate in Naotaifang group were significantly lower than those of positive control group; In the turbidimetry test, the maximum platelet Aggregation rates in Naotaifang group were significantly lower than those of positive control group; In the vitro- thrombus test, the length of thrombus in Naotaifang group were significantly shorter than those of positive control group; the wet- weight and dry- weight of thrombus in Naotaifan group were significantly lighter than those of positive control group. Conclusion These results suggest that Anti- platelet activation and Anti- thrombotic maybe one of the mechanisms of Naotaifang prevention and treatment cerebral infarction.
