Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of Amiodarone and Verapamil in treating paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia(PSVT).Methods33 patients of PSVT were treated with Amiodarone and the other 39 patients of PSVT were treated with Verapamil.ResultsIt has been shown that the termination rate of PSVT was 63.6%in amiodarone group and 84.6%in Verapamil group respectively(P0.05).The termination of PSVT in Amiodarone Group was later than in Verapamil-group significantly.(P0.05).ConclusionIt is efficacy and safety of Amiodarone in treating PSVT,and it can be first given for termination of PSVT in emergency.
