Abstract
ACCC30111 strain of beauveria bassiana was chosen to the diamondback moth (Plutella xylostella) under 25℃ and 75% humidity conditions to study its killing effect. Three different concentrations of 1×107 the spore/ml,1×108 spore/ml,1×109 spore/ml were used. After several days, compared with the contrast group, the cadaver of insect shape was ankylosis and the colour became black. After cultivated, the diamondback moth infected by beauveria bassiana could be seen some white mycelial. The growth, the pupation as well as the pupa eclosion for imago were influnced by beauveria bassiana. The lower diamondback’s age was, the higher beauveria bassiana’s lethality was. The death rate was 38.5%,61.6%,76.9% respectively through stasticing. The results indicated that the beauveria bassiana had a certain effection to diamondback moth.
