Abstract

Objective To investigate the application of color doppler ultrasound (CDU) in the venous thrombosis of lower extremity. Methods The sonographic appearances of 73 cases of lower extremity venous thrombosis were analyzed retrospectively. Results The diagnosis accordance rates of sonographic qualitation and localization were 100%. The cases of central type, periphery type and mixed type of lower extremity venous thrombosis in this study were 11,17and 45,respectively. Conclusion CDU is a sensitive and reliable imaging modality for detecting venous thrombosis of lower extremity.
