Abstract
Yangzhou,the famous ancient city located at south of Huaihe river,and at north of Yangzi river,boasted a great view of ancient Mei plantation.Before Sui and Tang dynasties Yangzhou was governed by office at south of Yangzi river.The popular poem describing Mei bloom by He Xun,a judicial officer and a famous poet,at period Liang during Nan dynasty in ancient China,mis-leaded location into Yangzhou,but increased her reputation on Mei admiration.Since Song dynasty Yangzhou had became a very important location as keeping Mei cultivation and appreciation.The famous Mei gardens at Yangzhou include Zhenzhou Mei Garden in Nan Song period of Song dynasty,Yangzhou Mei Flower Mountain,and the Little Snow Fragrant Sea.The Mei gardens were also widely used in construction of prevailing landscape gardens in Yangzhou during Kangxi and Qianlong times in Qing dynasty.
