Study and monitoring on deformation during deep foundation pit construction for subway station

Abstract

In order to solve the deformation problem of deep foundation pit during construction,which could result in accidents,this study investigates the deformation of deep foundation pit.Using East Lake station foundation pit project of Guangzhou metro line six as an example,this paper describes the excavation deformation monitoring process for station foundation pit.In addition,based on the construction site,the study analyses the monitoring data.The results show that during the construction,the deformation monitoring on foundation pit diaphragm wall and supporting structures,supporting axial force,column,underground water level,surrounding buildings(structures) are of significance for the construction project.Based on the deformation monitoring results,the construction parameters can be adjusted accordingly.On the other hand,the optimum design and corresponding measures can be taken to ensure the follow-up construction be safely and successfully completed.
