Abstract
This paper analyzes several seldom-seen words used as person-names in Zou Yan Shu,a bamboo-slips book of ancient legal cases written in Han dynasty and unearthed in Zhangjiashan,and points out the meaning of these names.Our research will benefit the study of the Chinese traditional culture and the history of Chinese characters.
