Social harmoney is the essence of socialism.Revolution and construction are two essences of socialism.At different historical,revolution and construction are stressed either.The judgement of whichSocial harmoney is the essence of socialismstresses that social harmony is the subject of Chinese characteristic socialism.This judgement is a theory innovation about socialism essence,which puts the theory about basic contradictions in socialist society to a new level,reflects the needs about prosperity,democracy,civilization and harmoney,reflects the new understanding about overall arrangment,scientific connotation and general goals of Chinese characteristic socialism.
