Writing a Great Inscription on Chinese Paintings

Abstract
The role and the artistic value of inscriptions on Chinese painting is analyzed,and its writing is discussed in details through literature and case study.The conclusion is that inscription should have good meaning and good wording,well balanced on the painting and in good harmony with its style to form a well match of form and contents.It should at the same time reflect the values of the time and the writer's interests and feel,so that the poem,calligraphy,drawing and imagination in the Chinese painting merge into the consummation.
