A Preliminary Study of the Relationship between Poem and Painting in Chinese Painting

In the long history of painting in China,the relationship between poem and painting used to be referred as the relationship between the context of poem and painting,which is also united to reflect the Chinese art thoughts.Although this relationship has gone through each era,the joint is still different because of the influence from the different historical background and humanities environment.The unit is based on the ignorance of the background,combined with the attention to the spirit and the pursuit of the common context.But they still have the different forms,which belongs to the different art categories.And their respective characters,functions and limits distinguish each other.The unique character of Chinese painting only can be displayed when the painting combines with the poem,forming the spiritual resonance and the context that only the artists can create.
