A Motive Analysis by Comparing the Competitive Power of Equipment Manufacturing Industry of Liaoning with that of the Counterparts in the Country

This article employs factor analysis method to make a comprehensive comparison among 31 provinces,cities and autonomies within the country and finds out that from the year 2003-2007,Equipment Manufacturing Industry of Liaoning Province has maintained a good trend of development both in scale and in efficiency,but compared with other provinces,such development is slow and such progress is relatively little.This indicates that there is still a huge room for Equipment Manufacturing Industry of Liaoning Province to develop,especially the aspect of efficiency needs improving and elevating.
