Abstract
Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effects of fluimucil on children with acute bronchitis. Methods Two hundred cases with acute bronchitis were randomly divided into treatment group (100 cases) and control group (100 cases). Both groups adopted anti-infection,fluimucil was given in treatment group and control group used bromhexin. The treatment course was designed to be 5 days. And then the symptoms and duration were observed and compared. Results After 3 day course of treatment, the effects on cough and sputum were much better in treatment group than in control group(P0.01).Compared with control group, the cases in treatment group were more significant in disappearence of cough and sputum(P0.01).The total improvement rate of clinical symptoms was 99% in the treatment group and 85% in the control group with a statistic significance(P0.01). Conclusion Fluimucil in treatment of acute bronchitis is effective and safe with a good compliance.
