Analysis on the pollution sources of drinking water source of medium and small towns in China

With serious water pollution,the safety of peoples' drinking water in medium and small towns has been challenged.This paper analyzes the major factors which influence the security of water quality,such as water pollution,unsubstantial monitoring in water quality,unsound management on water environment and so on.The results reveal that domestic sewage and rural diffused pollution are the main causes of water pollution.To deal with these problems,some suggestions are proposed,such as improving protection laws of water sources,establishing mechanisms for evaluating and protecting water quality.
