Abstract

[Objective]To understand the status of pesticide residues in vegetables in Changping District of Beijing, provide a basis for the government to carry out the effective supervision.[Methods]From 2010 to 2012,150 samples of vegetables were randomly collected in Changping District,to test the residues of organophosphorus pesticide, pyrethroid and organochlorine pesticide. [Results]Among 150 vegetable samples, the pyrethroid was detected in 25 samples, and 2 samples exceeded the standard, which the detection rate and over standard rate was 16. 67% and 1. 33% respectively. The organophosphorus pesticide was detected in 7 samples, and 2 samples exceeded the standard, which the detection rate and over standard rate was 4. 67% and 1. 33% respectively. The organochlorine pesticide was detected in 1 sample, and no sample exceeded the standard, which the detection rate was 0. 67%. [Conclusion]There are different levels of pesticide pollution in the vegetables of Changping District. It is necessary to enhance the monitoring and security management during vegetable cultivation and sale, and forbid the use of high-toxic pesticides from the source,to ensure the safety of consumers.
