Abstract
The aesthetic feeling of Xu Xu's stories stems from the writer's understanding of aesthetic distance.Xu Xu had adjusted the aesthetic distance between subject and object by choosing narrative tense and person, by taking cover the social circumstaces,by making up the plot with abrupt turning and coincidence, or by applying symbolic or symbolizing narration. This made his modern pondering and feeling have a popular reading effect.
