The Primary Research of the Aestheticism of Xu xu’s Novels

This essay analyzes the aestheticism of Xu xu’s novels,combining with Oscar Wilde’s aesthetic conception and practice.The aesthetic features of Xu xu’s novels include three aspects: firstly,aesthetes believe that the fundamental purpose is to “lie ”,the world that Xu xu’s works create is far away from the reality,making a visional “lies” on purpose.Secondly,aesthetes believe that comparing with realistic works,“lies” can reveal the truth of life more profoundly,the lies that Xu xu make up have the clear purpose of revealing the truth of life.Thirdly,“lies” are the result of disfigurements of life,Xu xu was always pursuing the artistic conception and spiritual home,which is just like the other romanticists,but he has a very clear understanding of the un realism,he does not cover it while he points out the character directly.
