Abstract
Objective] To study relationship between blood lead levels and diagnosis classification of lead poisoning under different occupational lead exposure concentrations.[Methods] 127 workers(males 112 and females 15) who had high concentration or low concentration lead exposure were investigated on the dose response relationship and at the same time to compare blood lead levels and lead poisoning degree.[Results] The lead exposure concentration and blood lead levels have shown a dose relationship.Further we found that blood lead levels were parallel to diagnosis classification in workers exposed to the high concentration,but to the low concentration blood lead levels between lead poisoning and absorb groups were not obviously distinguishable with statistical significance,in absorb group it was (2 255±0 069)μmol/L and in mild poisoning group it was (2 160±0 076)μmol/L,respectively.[Conclusion] Using alone blood lead levels to divide patients into poisoning degree is not good enough,complex utilization of the national diagnostic criteria for lead poisoning is reasonable.
