An analysis of anxiety and social anxiety of college students

Abstract

Objective To investigate anxiety and social anxiety of college students from city and country.Methods A total of 122 college students from city and country were evaluated by SAS,SAD,IAS and SASS.ResuIts The result of SAS showed that incidence rate of anxiety state was 38.84%.The score of SAS of college students was significantly higher than the norms,and the score of SAS of college students from city was higher than that from village.There were no significant differences on scores of other scales between two groups.Conlusion Anxiety exists in some college students,especially in students from city.
