Abstract

Objective To explore the effect of remifentanil on elderly patients with intravenous anesthesia in operation. Methods 80 elderly patients with operation were selected, and randomly divided into observation group and control group. Two groups were treated with intravenous anesthesia. The control group was given fentanyl, the observation group received remifentanil.Recovery time, spontaneous breathing recovery time, extubation time, pain score was ob served. Results In the observation group, the recovery time was(6.1 ±1.3) min, spontaneous breathing recovery time was(4.2 ± 1.1) min, extubation time was(11.7±3.4) min, pain score was(2.5±0.7) pionts. In the control group, the recovery time was(10.4 ±2.4) min, spontaneous breathing recovery time was(7.9 ±1.3) min, extubation time was(26.8 ± 3.9) min, pain score was(4.3±1) points. The recovery time, spontaneous breathing recovery time, extubation time, pain scores in the observation was lower than those in the control group respectively, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion The effect of remifentanil in elderly patients with operation during intravenous anesthesia was significant, and the effect is better than fentanyl.
