Abstract

Objective To analyze the application effect of fentanyl and remifentanil intravenous anesthesia in elderly patients. Methods 106 elderly patients undergoing laparotomies in our hospital were divided into observation group and control group randomly. The observation group was given remifentanil anesthesia, while the control group was given fentanyl anesthesia. The anesthetic effects of the groups were compared. Results SBP and DBP of the two groups increased after intubation, but changes of SBP and DBP of the observation group were higher than those of the control group. There was no statistically significant difference in changes of HR between the groups. The observation group's spontaneous breathing recovery time was(9.4±2.9)min,recovery time was(14.3±3.7) min, orientation recovery time was(14.6±5.7)min,all were shorter than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Remifentanil Anesthesia in elderly patients has higher safety, shorter recovery time and more significant effects, which is worthy of clinical application.
