On Creative Cities and Constructing the Charateristic Space Image of Hefei

Abstract

By analyzing the space feature of creative cities at home and abroad,this paper indicates that constructing the space image with local characteristics is the base and carrier of promoting the development of creative cities.What's more,it puts forward the strategic concepts of how to construct space feature of creative cities,including the city orientation,layout integration,style creation and so on.Then it analyzes the features and deficiencies of Hefei based on these space guidances.Strategies and approaches have been researched and explored to create the space feature of a creative Hefei.
