Analysis and Application of Electronic Prescriptions in Outpatient Pharmacy

Abstract

Objective To analysis the advantage of the electronic prescription in clinic application and existing problems,improving the quality of the electronic prescriptions,promoting rational clinical drug use.Methods 5896 electronic prescriptions in our hospital were randomly selected in 2012 June to 2012 December review and statistical analysis.Results The average cost of prescription drugs for a total of 2.18,the average cost of the prescriptions for the amount of 85.36 yuan,the usage rate of antimicrobial agents was 18%,the national essential drug for prescription was 57.44%,the generic names of the pharmaceuticals utilization rate was 100%,qualified prescription number was 5365,accounting for 91% of the total number of prescriptions.Unreasonable electronic prescription number was 531,accounting for 9% of the total number of prescriptions.The problems are not standardized and inappropriate medication prescription.Conclusions The application of electronic prescription to improve the efficiency of the hospital,but there are also a lot of problems,hope that the hospital can continue to improve and perfect the outpatient electronic prescription system.
