City Traffic Information Platform Based on Open Source GIS

Abstract

According to the requirements of the modern city's traffic management,with combination of the characteristics of the open source software,and by using the GIS technology,this paper describes the ways to store spatial data and the attribute data which is stored in the database for the traffic management,outlines the overall design and puts forward a system solution based on the Open GIS,which can meet the requirements of the city traffic information's management.This method can not only bring the GIS function into the traffic information platform conveniently,but also reduce the cost of the project and meet the desire of the further investigation.
