On the Legal Protection of Inheritors of Intangible Cultural Heritage

Inheritance is the landmark characteristics for non-material cultural heritage.The inheritor is not only the material carriers of the characteristics but the core content of the legal protection of non-material cultural heritage.The description about representative inheritors in Cultural Heritage Law of the People's Republic of China marks that the intangible cultural heritage inheritor formally enters to a legal protection stage.However,the legal protection of the inheritors should be comprehensive,systematic.It needs us to conduct in-depth understanding and research for identifying of inheritors,legal status,rights and obligations as well as the social security system.As this condition,we can protect heritage efficiently and make them play an important role on the Intangible Cultural Heritage to prosper the non-material cultural heritage in our country.
