Analysis of Prognosis Factors of Artificial Liver Support System on Patients with Severe Hepatitis

Objective:To investigate the prognosis factors of artificial liver support system on patients with severe hepatitis.Methods:109 cases of severe hepatitis underwent an ordinary synthetic treatment plus the therapy of plasma exchange(PE).The factors such as the stage of severe hepatitis.severe hepatitis complications and index of virus replication of prognosis of patients with severe hepatitis were analysed.Results:The curative effect was the best on severe hepatitis in early period and the rate of improvement was 82.86%,the middle period was 60.78%,and the late period was 25%.The rate of improvement of severe hepatitis with complications after ALSS therapy was 50%,while the improvement rate of severe hepatitis with no complications was 84.62%(P0.01).The index of virus replication such as HBV DNA and HBeAg had no effect on severe hepatitis patients with artiticial liver support system.Conclusion:ALSS is a effective therapy for severe hepatitis,and patients with severe hepatitis should be treated in early period without complication.Whethet or not virus replicates have no effect on the rate of improvement of severe hepatitis patients with therary of ALSS.
