Abstract
Objective:To send all kinds of pictures or images to PACS(Picture Archive and Communication System)and unify the formats of those pictures or images to be generally applied in many hospitals nowadays.Methods:Structures of PACS involved imaging device,data gathering working station,server,display working station and network.DICOM gateway was applied to help diagnose correctly from all kinds of pictures or images.Results:Kinds of file formats could be transformed conveniently with DICOM Gateway.The system could also manage and store intelligently those files in a visual and uniform way.Conclusion:Management and share of various files can be realized with DICOM Gateway.
