Abstract
Using data for 18 cities in Henan Province in 2012 and Data Envelopment Analysis,this paper studies the efficiency of agricultural production in 18 cities of Henan Province and calculates the comprehensive technical efficiency,the pure technical efficiency and the scale efficiency of each region. It is found that the pure technical efficiency of 8 areas such as Hebi was 1,and the comprehensive efficiency of Hebi and Xinyang achieved optimization. This indicated that the scale inefficiency can restrict the rising of the comprehensive efficiency. At the same time,the differences in economic conditions,regional development and natural resources endowent will lead to differences in efficiency of agricultural production.
