Abstract

The paper studied the effect of pH value, ultrasonic power and reaction time on the ultrasonic degradation of phenolic compounds which had very strong toxicity.Through the experiment, the degradation effects of hydrogen peroxide and ultrasonic enhanced hydrogen peroxide were compared. The results indicated that, under 1 of pH value,30 ℃ temperature,180 W of ultrasonic power,300 mg/L of H2O2,as well as the combined treatment of ultrasound and H2O2 for 90 min,the degradation rate of phenol could reach 83.8%.
