Abstract
Mechanisms of smooth blasting and multidimensional cumulative cutting blasting are analyzed,and ground vibrations,increase in crack frequency,the length of radial cracks and the half cast factor induced by multidimensional cumulative cutting blasting and smooth blasting are compared.Compared with smooth blasting,multidimensional cumulative cutting blasting can reduce ground vibration and damage to remaining rock mass,and improve the half cast factor,but the structure of charging and the process of construction are more complex.For the smooth blasting and the multidimensional cumulative cutting blasting have their own merits and demerits,the blasting technology should be selected appropriately by the characteristics of technology and the concrete condition of a project.
