Abstract
With the increasing expectation of higher education,the issue of higher education equity has received a wide publicity of educators,sociologists,and even economists,politicians.By using statistical method,this paper deeply discussed some issues of rural students about their enrollment and employment.Enlarging enrollment of university is benefit for raising the enrollment rate of rural students and improving their value of human capital.However,from the view of education equity,educational unfairness still exist on the starting point and the results of higher education between rural and urban students.To take full advantage of education role in promoting social equity,four measures have been proposed to gradually improve the higher education equality.
