Abstract
This paper established a macro-assessment system for intensified use of urban land in terms of intensity of land-use,efficiency of land-use,intensity of land input, and sustainability of land-use,using the model of Multi-factor Synthetic Evaluation to assess the status of intensive land-use in Chongqing City and conducted a cluster analysis based on the differences of landuse intensity, and pointed out that land-use intensity of the input and output level needed to further improve efficiency. It meant that there was an obvious correlation between urban land intensive utilization and economic development. This paper put forward the pertinent countermeasures to enhance the level of the city land intensive exploitation in Chongqing City.
