A Clinical Study on the Treatment of AIDS Patients with the Methods of Supplementing Qi and Replenishing Yin and Clearing Heat and Toxic Materials

Abstract
Objective:To explore effective methods of preventing and treating AIDS patients with traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:97 HIV antibody positive patients were treated with the methods of supplementing qi and replenishing yin and clearing heat and toxic materials and the physical sign integral of their symptom and the changes of their CD4 cell index were observed in the course of the treatment.Results:Guided by the idea of traditional Chinese medicine,the treatment effectively improved the symptom of HIV antibody positive patients and retarded the descent of the CD4 cells.Conclusion:The methods of supplementing qi and replenishing yin and clearing heat and toxic materials have a certain effect on the treatment of AIDS patients.
