Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical value of color Doppler ultrasound in patients with cerebral infarction detection carotid atherosclerotic lesions Methods Use of 86 cases exceeds by CT and(or) MRI diagnosed patients with cerebral infarction of carotid intima-media thickness(IMT),patch types and plaques form for testing,45 cases of patients with no cerebral infarction as control group.Meanwhile testing two group of hemodynamic parameters. Results Different degrees of carotid atherosclerotic plaque formation was found in 86 cases of cerebral infarction group, incidence 79.1%.Prevalence of carotid IMT(1.22±0.31)mm was significantly thicker, than in the control group IMT(0.60±0.14) mm with a significant diffrence(P0.05)Sick with carotid plaques of lipid main type, and the surface much an irregular shape. Conclusion IMT carotid artery thickening than the control group, type of atherosclerotic plaque lipid-based,indicating the nature of atherosclerotic plaque is closely related to the occurrence of cerebral infarction.
