The Hamlet with Dual Ideology: The Self-construction and Self-deconstruction of a Humanist

Hamlet,one of the four most important tragedies by Shakespeare,shows the conflicts of different psychological forces in Hamlet.In Hamlet's turbulent psyche,which is out of balance,the medieval ideology can no longer retain its former prevalence.Under those conditions,the humanistic ideology gets the chance for further development in Hamlet's psyche.Nevertheless,the humanistic ideology exposes its own weaknesses in the course of development.Through the play,Hamlet constructs his identity as a humanist while deconstructing that identity in the meantime,which reflects Shakespeare's profound and unique views about humanism.
