Abstract
The author intends to analyze the definition, major problems as well as a new mechanism of re-employment for landless farmers in the process of urbanization. Local governments need to improve land use efficiency based on the long-term local economic development plan, closely locating towns and industrial areas to ensure the quality of investment in convenient social public services and reduce the number of landless farmers. It is essential that landless farmers have a new sense of re-employment, improve their skills on one hand,and enterprises increase their social responsibilities on the other, hence more employment opportunities for landless farmers.
