Abstract

Objective:To use a gas chromatography method for the determination of acetamiprid residues in tomato paste. Methods:The sample was extracted with acetonitrile, and an aliquot of the supernatant was cleaned up using florisil solid-phase extraction cartidges.Analyses can be performed using gas chromatography,matrix-matched external standards were used for quantitative determination. Results:The linear range was from 0.05 to 2 mg/kg.The average recoveries were 90%-104% and relative standard deviations 5.2%~9.2% in the spiked range of 0.1~0.5 mg/kg.The limit of detection was 0.02 mg/kg and the limit of quantification 0.05 mg/kg.Conclusion:The method is rapid, sensitive, accurate, and rugged and it is suitable for the determination of acetamiprid residues in tomato paste.
